Declaration of accessibility

VAP restaurants GmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.vapiano.at

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.2" or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Content that is not accessible

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons

a) Content with limited accessibility

Many, mainly older PDF documents are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged, which means that screen reader users cannot access them or cannot access them sufficiently with structural information. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 is not met.
For new PDF documents, it is intended to take into account the accessibility requirements according to WCAG 2.2 and, where possible, according to PDF/UA.

b) Content from third-party providers

A third-party ordering system is integrated into this website via an iFrame. This content does not fully meet the requirements of WCAG 2.2. As this is an external service, we have no influence on its accessibility.

Creation of this accessibility statement

This statement was created on March 16, 2026.

The assessment of the website's compliance with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out by a third party (KJU GmbH) in the form of an assessment of the basic components of selected websites by means of an evaluation in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA in 2026.
